Please note that Music Therapy and Counselling services provided by Bridie Fitzgerald at Bridie`s Music Therapy and Counselling Service private studio Koongamia will continue to be funded by NDIS.
Bridie is a Western Australian registered NDIS Provider who is registered with AMTA and PACFA therefore she can provide Therapy to both children and adults. Young Children can continue to access Early Intervention at this service due to the fact Bridie is a registered Counsellor.
All EI Therapy will incorporate Music Therapy and Counselling treatment interventions into therapy sessions. This service will be delivered in line with other EI professionals. NDIS participants can continue to access funding for therapy at this service if they are plan or self -managed NDIS participants through Improved Daily Living as listed on the current NDSI Price Guideline for registered NDIS Providers.
Some changes to funding to Music Therapy applies to service providers who are not registered providers and are not a registered Counsellor. Please refer to the NDIS Price guideline and direct any questions you may have regarding NDIS funded therapy services at this service to NDIA or Bridie directly.
About the service
For fifteen years Bridie has met the psychological needs of her clients. Bridie is a counsellor and music therapist who is registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association and Australian Counselling Association.
Bridie has extensive experience in supporting young children with a disability to reach their potential, often working along side allied health professionals such as speech and occupational therapists. Furthermore, Bridie possesses extensive experience working with individuals who have trauma, mental health and relationship issues.
